Meet Tyler Madden | Professional Dallas–Fort Worth Bass Fishing Guide
Bass fishing has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. From chasing largemouth bass growing up to competing at the collegiate level with the Auburn University Bass Fishing Team, I've spent years developing the knowledge, skills, and experience that I now share with my clients.
After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Marketing, I continued pursuing competitive bass fishing. In 2025, I earned the Bass Angler Magazine Pro Tour Angler of the Year title, one of the proudest accomplishments of my fishing career.
Today, I'm a full-time professional tournament angler and bass fishing guide serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I specialize in guided fishing trips on North Texas lakes, including Joe Pool Lake and Lake Athens, using my tournament experience to help anglers locate and catch bass throughout the year.
Whether you're a beginner looking to catch your first bass, a recreational angler wanting to improve your skills, or a competitive fisherman looking to learn advanced techniques, every trip is tailored to your experience level and goals.
During our time on the water, I'll share the same techniques and strategies I use in competition, from reading electronics and identifying productive structure to finesse fishing, offshore techniques, and understanding seasonal bass movements.
My goal is simple: help you catch fish, build confidence, and become a better angler.
When you book a trip with TMadd Fishing Guide Service, you're getting more than a day of fishing. You're getting personalized instruction, tournament-tested knowledge, and an experience you can take with you long after the trip ends.
